Love is Chairman & CEO of GVG Capital Group, the premier global investment firm
in unlocking digital shareholder value from iconic consumer companies.

the dawn of e-commerce in 1995, he has led industry giants—from Macy's/
Fingerhut in the US to Lojas Americanas/B2W in Brazil—delivering $15B to
shareholders from digital spinoffs. GVG’s approach involves aligning interests with
shareholders through significant equity ownership, playing a key role in board
governance, and actively collaborating with the CEO and senior team in execution.
This has yielded unmatched results—more than a dozen $1B+ e-commerce
businesses across four continents, and the two most successful multi-channel
retailers in history.

Love began his career at Apple; and by his 20’s transformed Macy’s, the world’s
largest department store chain into the world’s top multi-channel retailer at the time,
as COO of its $3B e-business. Previously, he built catalog retailer Fingerhut into the
world’s largest e-commerce network, and sold it to Macy’s for $2B. There, he also
built a successful digital investment fund, e-commerce market leaders in many
categories from apparel to electronics, the largest e-fulfillment business enabling
dozens of clients like Wal-Mart, Intuit, DirecTV, 1-800 Flowers and Levi’s to start
selling online; and pioneered the digital use of gift registries, daily deals, and credit
based installment sales.

As a young Silicon Valley CEO, Love built the leading SAAS company for e-analytics
serving 200 clients including Yahoo!, P&G, Tupperware, Gap and BMW. He went on
to partner and co-invest with global private equity firms like 3G Capital and
Riverside Company to extract digital shareholder value from companies.

Since 2012, Love has served as Chairman of the Digital Committee on the Board of
$10B Lojas Americanas, Brazil’s leading retail chain; and built it into the world’s top
multi-channel retailer today. He led the revitalization of Lojas’ public affiliate, B2W
Digital, into South America's largest digital company and one of the world’s leading
digital retailers.

Love founded and hosts the annual Digital CEO Roundtable, serves as Chairman of
The Fashion School Advisory Board at Kent State University, and is a Henry Crown
Fellow of The Aspen Institute.

He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota,
where he was a
Regents' Scholar (full scholarship), Chair of the Student Senate,
USA Today Academic All American.
